Guest reviews of Hartweger´s Hotel

A couple of friends and we chose this hotel for hiking tours - in June 2023 - in the Schladminger Tauern because of the thoroughly positive reviews. We were not disappointed in any way. The 4* hotel is tastefully furnished, with a beautiful pool, a small and fine wellness oasis - we were particularly taken with the bio sauna on the roof terrace. The breakfast buffet, afternoon snack and evening buffet leave nothing to be desired. The entire staff, including the chefs, are extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. We had the rooms facing the garden where we enjoyed the nearby Weißenbach stream as a welcome aid to falling asleep. There was nothing at all to complain about in this hotel.

Very great hotel with all-round views of the mountains. The rooms are modern and very nice. The wellness offer also fits. Half board is very tasty. Bicycles can be borrowed at the hotel for excursions. We will definitely come back.

This house is literally bursting with friendliness, warmth, attention and welcome. The hosts spread such a positive aura that you simply feel at home here - where the heart can arrive, you are at home! Just like here! The south-facing rooms in particular have great views of the mountain peaks all around; the sun terrace and the well-tended garden, especially by the stream, are perfect retreats. The food was delicious throughout, from the first day to the last, nowhere was a wish left unfulfilled! Chefs de cuisine, you are wonderful! Every meal was a chain of new surprises. The spa area offers everything you would expect, relaxation areas with a view into and access directly to the garden, including a notably large indoor/outdoor pool. Last, but not least, the rural tranquillity, silence, seclusion and peace in the woods and meadows, on country lanes and mountain paths of this picturesque little village should be emphasised. Here you can really recover perfectly everywhere and in the evening, "when you come home", you are always welcomed and pampered in the friendliest way. Mrs. Elke, the masseuse of the house, deserves our special thanks for her sensitive, targeted and successful treatments!

The Hartweger family gave us a great skiing holiday in the beautiful accommodation close to the ski area. Personal and appreciative service throughout, both at breakfast and in the evening from Mario! After an exhausting day of skiing, you can very well switch off in the wellness area. We are already looking forward to our next skiing holiday at the Hartweger.
