Route description:

Scenic tour via Ramsau Rössing with a climb up to the Storn Alm. As a reward, there is then a 12 km long descent.

On the country road towards Ramsau Rössing. At the "Percht", turn off onto the forest path towards the Fliegenpilz snack station and the Silberkarklamm parking lot. Turn right down the gravel path. When you change to asphalt, keep right uphill towards Gasthof Burgstaller. Pass the fish pond. Then turn left: From here, the approx. 8 km long, selective mountain classification starts towards Storn Alm, which becomes somewhat steeper and more strenuous in the last few meters of altitude. The reward is a 12 km long descent on forest roads to Weißenbach. Cross the village to the west. From here, the ascent begins through very beautiful and quiet woodland to Birnberg. At the "Timmelbauerhof", you reach the main road again. Turn right onto the Obere Leiten district. Follow the main road to the Hotel Almfrieden junction. Pass the hotel on the left and continue through Ramsau Kulm back to the starting point in Ramsau Ort.
